Day 1 | Tabanan | Arrival Day

Upon arrival at the airport, our team will be waiting for you holding a sign with your name on it. The drive to Tabanan takes about an hour. There are no scheduled activities during the day, allowing you to unwind and recover from your trip. In the evening, we will take you out for a local meal where you can meet your fellow travelers and the rest of the team. (D)

Day 2 | Canggu | cycle 45km

Get excited because we're going to hit the trails today! We won't need to worry about packing up as we'll be riding all the way back to our charming accommodation in Tabanan. We'll start early with a transfer to Mount Batu Karu (2276m), an area of Bali that's not often explored by Western tourists but is truly breathtaking. You have the option to ride 30km or challenge yourself with the full 45km ride. Either way, you'll have an unforgettable experience. After our ride, we'll visit the famous Tanah Lot Temple, one of Bali's most beautiful temples, built on a rock in the ocean. During high tide, the sea surrounds the temple, making for a stunning view. This means you'll get to see two world heritage sites in one day: the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces and Tanah Lot Temple. What more could you ask for on your first day of biking? (B L)

Day 3 | Ride from Mount Batur down to Ubud | 35km

Today's ride will be spectacular! We'll be starting bright and early at 8:00 AM, departing from our hotel and making our way to the heart of the island to witness the breathtaking volcanoes. Our first stop will be at the most incredible viewpoint, where we'll get a chance to catch a glimpse of Mount Batur. We'll take a little coffee break there before we hit the trails. Our journey will take us through a network of local paths, passing by fruit farms and local villages, and then through the iconic rice paddy fields until we finally reach Ubud. We'll arrive in Ubud at 3:30 PM, giving us plenty of time to unwind by the hotel's pool or explore the town. (B, L)

Day 4 | Hike to the summit of Mount Batur

Join us as we embark on an adventurous journey to conquer the Volcano of Mount Batur and witness the breathtaking sunrise. Our trekking guide will collect you from your hotel in Ubud at 2 am. We will commence hiking at 3 am and summit around 6 am. The descent will be on a different trail, and after the hiking excursion, we will take a dip in the local hot springs. We will then transfer back to our accommodation in Sanur located on the beach, where you can relax and prepare for the Sulawesi part of the tour. (B, L)

Day 5 | Arrival Makassar and Bulusaraung trip

A convenient domestic flight from Bali to Sulawesi followed by a short drive to the starting point of your bike excursion in Makassar is a great way to begin your adventure. The starting point is situated in a charming village where you can observe fruit bats sleeping in the trees. You will be cycling through an awe-inspiring landscape dominated by karst hills and will make a brief stop at some caves (Leang-Leang site) with prehistorical drawings that are believed to be the oldest in the world. During the bike trip, there might be a part where you have to walk due to the steep and poor condition of the road. However, the locals are always willing to offer a helping hand. After the more challenging section of the trip, you will ride downhill through breathtaking landscapes before arriving at a local family's home for a delicious lunch. You will have an hour and a half more of cycling before reaching today's endpoint. A car and driver will then pick you up and take you to Makassar, where you will arrive in the early evening. (B, L)

Day 6 | Biking Barombong & Kampili, transfer to Malino.

If you're interested in experiencing local culture and ways of life, we offer trips to nearby villages in the Barombong and Kampili areas, which are only a 45-minute car ride from Makassar. You'll explore the countryside on mountain bikes and interact with friendly locals along the way. During the trip, you'll stop at a local house for coffee and tea, and enjoy a traditional Buginese lunch at another. You'll have plenty of opportunities to stop at home industries and chat with locals as you travel by bike. The 50-kilometer bike route will take you through different villages, rice fields, and winding paths lined with banana and lontara palm trees. You'll even cross a river on a small ferry. The trip ends near the Bili Bili dam, where a car will take you to Malino, a beautifully fertile area with some of Sulawesi's most stunning rice fields. You'll sleep comfortably in a bungalow amidst the rice fields, and breakfast will be provided. For dinner, we'll take you to a local restaurant in town (about 4 km away) using our car and driver. Day 7 | Cycling Malino

Experience the stunning beauty of Malino on a bicycle tour that takes you through rice paddies and verdant green areas. Along the way, you'll encounter a variety of fruit and vegetable fields, as well as numerous herbs. The views are simply awe-inspiring, but be aware that the mountainous terrain will include both ascents and descents. After an incredible lunch at a local home, you'll be picked up and transported back to the guesthouse. (B L)

Day 8 | From Malino to Manimpahoi by bicycle and car to Bira

To get to the quaint village of Manimpahoi from the guesthouse in Malino, we simply need to drive 15 km up a side road and cycle the remaining 50 km. The route comprises small roads and a main road that is not heavily trafficked. Once you arrive in Manimpahoi, a car will transport us to the beach town of Bira, which should take approximately 2.5 hours. Breakfast and lunch will be provided again. (B L)

Day 9 | Free Morning, Makassar airport, flight to Bali

You have the morning free to do as you please. Later in the afternoon, you will drive back to Makassar by car, which will take approximately 5 hours. You'll be taken to the airport where you can check in for your afternoon/evening flight to Denpasar. Our Bali team will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to your overnight stay in Sanur, Bali. (B L)

Day 10 | Departure Day

It's departure day today and there won't be any planned activities. You need to check-out by noon. Kindly inform us of your departure time and we'll arrange an airport transfer or transfer to your next destination in Bali's Southern beach area at no extra cost. (B)
